NCM-FINE VSI Crusher - High-quality end products

 

The secret behind NCM-FINE crushers’ efficiency is the unique crushing process. While most other crushers reduce rocks by pushing them by force against metal, NCM-FINE crushers also utilize the rock to crush itself. 

This so called autogenous crushing action results in lower cost per ton than any other impact crushing method. Furthermore, rock-on-rock crushing has proven to produce end products that have precise and homogenous shape. 

NCM-FINE crushers are especially useful for producers who are after cubical end products used for example in concrete, asphalt, groundwork materials, manufactured sand, heap leaching, pre-grinding, industrial minerals, and recycling applications.

NCM-FINE crushers are designed to prolong the lifetime of wear parts and increase the operational availability by reducing the time needed for parts changes.

Selecting and applying NCM-FINE VSI crushers

Selecting and applying a NCM-FINE VSI crusher correctly requires understanding the economic and application-specific factors. The desired production volumes define the optimal size of the crusher. Rock-on-rock or anvil crushing, on the other hand, results in slightly different end products than normal tertiary and quaternary compression type crushing.

NCM-FINE VSI crushers produce cubical aggregate that performs well in concrete, asphalt and base mixtures. It can also be considered for fine crushing, particularly for abrasive materials, as it is not mechanically restricted in the same way as compression crushers are at fine settings.

If applied correctly, rock-on-rock crushing offers the lowest wear cost per tonne of any impact crushing method. In most cases, NCM-FINE VSI crushers are applied in the last crushing phase of any crushing circuit. It is at this stage of the process where the crushing of the final products is performed, be it the production of superior shaped aggregates, manufactured sand, mill feeds, or liberation or separation of a particular mineral from its host rock.

Aggregates production

Different quarries often utilize VSI crushers since they can produce high quality cubical shaped aggregates that meet all major construction specifications. NCM-FINE crushers are particularly successful in producing road-base, top dressing chip, concrete and asphalt aggregates. In these applications, NCM-FINE VSI crushers can be operated either in open or closed circuit, depending on the types of aggregates and the specifications required.

Manufactured sand production

Accurate shaping capabilities and acceptance of fines make NCM-FINE  crushers excellent for manufactured sand production. Rock-on-rock crushing ensure low operating costs, and whenever more reduction is needed, or the feed is coarse, the crusher can be equipped with metallic anvils.

With features such as controlled product grading, low production costs and ability to produce finely graded products, NCM-FINE VSI crushers can optimize the performance of most industrial mineral processing installations.
